Enhancing Prayer with Music. 

At the end of 2011 we introduced a new style Friday evening service. We trialed it for five weeks and were overwhelmed by the positive response from everyone who attended. We are excited and thrilled to say that Shabbat Live will be back from the first week in February and will continue throughout the year. If you have not had the chance to come along, please do, and if you have, we would love to see you back.

So what is Shabbat Live? It’s a innovative Shabbat service where prayer is enhanced with musical instruments, beautiful melodies, creative readings and stories. During the hour we are transported on a journey, moving from the chaos and pressures of the work week to the joy, rest and peace of Shabbat. Gathered together with community in prayer and song, we will lift one another beyond the cares of the week, its stresses and burdens, to the holy sanctuary in time that is the Shabbat.
