As every year in the past, once again, Emanuel synagogue will publish a 'Yizkor' Memorial Book for the Yom Kippur Memorial Service. Everyone will receive the ‘Yizkor’ Memorial Book in synagogue and the full Yizkor service will be included. During the service the names of those who have died since last Yom Kippur will be read out.

Rosh Hashanah Second Day Childrens' Service
Friday 10 September, 10:00am
A wonderful service designed especially for the younger members of the congregation. We celebrate the birthday of the world and introduce the themes of repentance and forgiveness. There will be singing, stories and after the service, we join together for a Kiddush of apples and honey.
Yom Kippur Children’s Service
Saturday 18 September, 9:00am
A service especially designed for the younger members of our congregation. This service helps impart the meanings of Yom Kippur and the themes of forgiveness, mistakes and repentance. The time is filled with stories, songs and a chance to see the Torah up close.
Sukkot: Sukkah Decorating and Service
Wednesday 22 September, 5:30pm
Come and help us decorate our “Celebrity Sukkah” Add your own star on our walk of fame and help us to transform our sukkah into a glittering, magical place. After we have made our sukkah beautiful, we will gather inside the sukkah for a service especially created for our youngest members. We will supply the materials. You supply the energy, creativity and fun!
Simchat Torah Children’s Service
Friday 1 October, 9:30am
Join us for our second ever children’s Simchat Torah service. Come along and dance with the Torah, carry it around the congregation and look at the Torah up close. We will enjoy a craft activity, songs, stories and lots of sweet Simchat Torah fun!
