We invite you to find your unique place in our community, whether it be through spirituality, learning, social justice programs or social activities. By joining Emanuel you help to create a place of prayer, learning and community for Jews of all ages and backgrounds who share a common vision. You may attend either our weekly Progressive or Masorti (Conservative) service or once a month, our renewal service. We have special rates for youth, young adults, single parents and families. You pay what you can afford; your contribution makes the work of our dynamic community possible.

There are several categories of membership of Emanuel Synagogue:
Family Membership $1700 per annum
Single Membership $850 per annum
Pensioner Membership $76 per annum

Our young membership rates, are on a sliding scale from $92per annum at the age of 21, increasing annually until the age of 35. This applies for singles and married couples. For example, a single person aged 25 will pay $128 per annum (couple - $256), and for 30 year olds the single membership fee is $300 per annum ($600 for couple).

We offer discounts of 25% to families from the Emanuel School and Kindergarten and the Emanuel Woollahra Preschool.

No-one is denied membership for financial reasons and fee subsidies are available.

We bill every three months for membership. Payment can be done quarterly, 1/2 yearly or yearly.
