By joining Emanuel you help to create a place of prayer, learning and community for Jews of all ages and backgrounds who share a common vision. You may attend either our Progressive or Conservative service. We have special rates for youth, young adults, single parents and families. You pay what you can afford; your contribution makes the work of our dynamic community possible.

There are several categories of membership of Emanuel Synagogue:
Family Membership $1600 per annum
Single Membership $800 per annum
Pensioner Membership $72 per annum

Our young membership rates, are on a sliding scale from $120 per annum at the age of 19, increasing annually until the age of 35. This applies for singles and married couples. For example, a single person aged 25 will pay $240 per annum, and for 32 year olds the single membership fee is $640 per annum.

We offer discounts of 25% to families from the Emanuel School and Kindergarten. No-one is denied membership for financial reasons and fee subsidies are available.

We bill every three months for membership. Payment can be done monthly, quarterly, 1/2 yearly or yearly.
