The Congregation of the Temple Emanuel, as a Progressive synagogue and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Union of Progressive Judaism, provides a spiritual home for all people seeking to sanctify their lives through Jewish practice, sensitive to contemporary society and responsive to Jewish tradition.

Works for "tikkun olam", the improvement of our society and the world we share with others; Practices pluralism, the variety of expressions of Judaism, including Australia's first Conservative Service;
